NOTES: William C. Booth came from Alabama in 1852 to Ouachita County,
Arkansas. He lived in this area for 1 to 2 years before moving on to Columbia
County, Arkansas. He is buried at Little Flock Primitive Baptist Cemetery in
Mt Holly, Arkansas.
NOTES: All of W. C. and Missouri Booth's boys except James served in Civil
War. James was at Camden on his way to the war when it ended. Two boys each
lost an arm-Charles and ----. One broke his back. William H. had no injuries.

OBITUARY:Graveside services for Mr. Rossie G. Orr, 88 of Bossier City, will be
held at 10:30a.m. Tuesday April 16 at Forest Park Cemetery. The Rev. Chris
Curry, associate pastor of First United Methodist Church of Bossier City, where
Mr. Orr was a member, will officiate. Plans are under the direction of
Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel.
Mr. Orr died Saturday April 13, 1985, at his residence after a lengthy
illness. He was born in Vick, Arkansas and had been a resident of Bossier City
for fifty years. Mr. Orr was a retired telegraph operator with Cotton Belt
Raillroad and was a member of the Order of Telegraph Operators.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Iva Lockett Orr of Bossier City; three
sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Rodney G. and Marge Orr of Arlington, Texas,
Jack T. and Alice Orr of Bossier City and Don H. and Betty Orr of New Orleans,
Louisiana; six grandchildren, Dr Geoffrey Orr, Terry Gill, Pam King, Dona
Landry, Susan Gravel and Kaye Hoffman; two great-grandchildren, Beth Ann Gill
and Dawn Ree Gill.
Pallbearers will be James Bruce Dawes, Kirby Wilson, Dr. Geoffrey Orr, Dr.
Teemie Landry, Phillip Gill and Roy Fay.
Occupation: Retired from Cotton Belt Railroad, Shreveport, Louisiana.
School: In Pine Grove-per Iva Lockett Orr, his wife.
