OBITUARY:Services for Sybil Baker Gill, 72, will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday,
April 15, 1995 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, Officiating will be Rev. Doyle
Ferguson with First Assembly of God Church, White Oak, TX., Burial will by in
Forest Park West.
Funeral home visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday.
Mrs. Gill died Thursday, April 13, 1995 at Heritage Manor, Lougview, Tx,
after a lenghty illness. She was born in Springhill, LA and was a aresident of
Shreveport all of her life. Mrs. Gill was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Gill.
She is survived by two sons, Randall Gill, Price, TX and Phillip Gill,
Frisco, TX; four daughters, Bessie Loyd, Gilmer, TX, Cathy Williams, Waskom,
TX, Ruth Cox, Waskom, TX, and Nina Hudson, Liberty City, TX; brother-in-law,
Charlie Gill, Shreveport, LA; four sisters, Lorene Carter, Norma Moon, Lois
Shafer and Barbara Robertson; four brothers, Travis Baker, Roy Baker, 16
grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host
of friends.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Chuck Nix, Randall Gill, Jr., Kenny Gill,
James Williams, David Williams, Michael Williams, and Gerry Alley.
The familey suggest memorials may be made to the Longview Chapter of the
National Kidney Foundation.
